Since as long as I can remember, I have been a proud chocolate enthusiast. You can imagine my disappointment when I grew up to learn that most chocolate products and desserts are full of toxic hormone and gut disrupters. After years of trying and failing to find the perfect dairy free, gluten free, and refined sugar free chocolate dessert that is both moist and tasty – I finally decided that I absolutely needed to create my own.
Behold the most delicious chocolatey goodness you will ever have! These ‘Double Fudge Tahini Brownies’ are quite possibly the best things to ever come out of my kitchen. I hope you love them as much as I do!
Ingredients:
1 cup tahini (Dastony Brand is the absolute best to bake with)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp coconut flour
½ tsp aluminum free baking soda
1/3 tsp sea salt
1 cup cacao powder
7/8 cup water
¾ cup dark chocolate chips (Hu Kitchen Chocolate Gems are pretty amazing here)
1 cup date sugar
1/3 cup maple syrup
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350
Spray a 7x11 Pyrex baking dish (I use coconut spray)
In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients
Add in all wet ingredients and combine again
Fold in the chocolate chips
Gently pour the batter into your baking dish and spread evenly
Bake for 25 minutes
Allow 1 hour to cool
Cut into 2x2 inch brownie squares
Enjoy with a glass of dairy free milk!
