Its official. Summer is gone, and Fall is upon us. You know what that means: crisp air, apples galore, and of course – pumpkin & cinnamon spiced everything – including your veggies. Spices, and specifically cinnamon, have a full spectrum of health benefits. One particularly noteworthy healing power of cinnamon is its ability to slightly lower and manage blood sugar, which is why I love to pair it with starchy vegetables like squashes and potatoes. This recipe is the perfect blend of sweet & salty, with a touch of decadence.
